Suddenly, she feels her feet stop moving, and she opens her eyes to discover she's standing on the street, staring at him from afar. She suddenly breaks into a run as she realises it was her imagination. The Doctor's running towards her and she to him, but she knows they will never reach each other. It wasn't a daydream, and she looks to her right just in time to see a Dalek rolling into place.

"No!" She screams, and the Doctor follows her gaze towards the bronze creature that had shot him down in Rose's imagination.

But she feels her hands reaching for her gun, seemingly of their own accord, and she fires at the giant pepper pot, destroying it before it can destroy the man she loves. The Doctor looks at her and he stares at the gun for a moment before letting it fall to the floor. He hates guns, and so does she. The only reason she carried it was to save people, but suddenly the world doesn't matter as much as what he thinks of her. He smiles a huge smile at her and breaks back into a run. Rose doesn't need to run anymore, for within seconds he's right in front of her, and she's lifted clean of the ground as he spins her in his arms.

"I missed you." She says, and finds tears of happiness in her eyes.

For once, the Doctor seems to be lost for words, but it doesn't matter. His silence says more than a thousand of his words ever could. She is all he wants in the unvierse.
